Zoo Train

Now that we've been traveling on the Allee-Allee O and seeing all the animals in our Kindermusik Zoo, your child may be ready to visit the "real" zoo. So, what's happening this summer at the zoo? I'm glad you asked!

Mondays: 99 cent Mondays Each week will feature a different 99 cent special. It might be ice cream, a ride on the carousel, small popcorn, and more! It's a surprise, but on June 30th, they will feature 99 cent train rides!)

June 27th: Sunset Safari (5-8pm) See what the zoo is like as the sun goes down! Purchase tickets online to enjoy dinner and special events.

June 28th: Zoo Tales (10am-3pm) Zoo keepers and animal experts will be on hand to tell you the amazing "tales" of animals in the Africa exhibit (morning) and "topside" (afternoon).

The Kansas City Zoo is open from 9:30-5:30pm daily. New additions and upgrades make a trip to the zoo fun. Don't miss the Peek-a-Boo Tree, Discovery Barn, and Endangered Species Carousel. Be sure to meet the new baby zebra.
